P.E.T. Consulting Services

We have large experience with worldwide P.E.T. (Polyethylene Terephthalate), from suppliers through crystalization, injection and blow molding into containers, bottles and gallons. P.E.T. Recovery Service and Consulting

P.E.T. is worldwide used for bottling and containers, for food, drinks, cosmetic, medicine, etc. Its capacity to be recicled endlessly makes this polymer the best substitute to what was glass up to the WWII. The P.E.T. can only be recycled if it is collected before it goes to landfills. Fortunately there is money in recycling P.E.T. worldwide. The process requires heavy machinery to wash, remove labels, clean extensively and then break/cut the bottles in small pieces, we call it "flakes". It is clean again, washed several times, and then extruded into small pellets, that are transported to large plants like RIOPET to be used to produce again P.E.T. bottles and containers.



The reuse of P.E.T. had certain resistance for food and drinks for human consumption. There was always the idea of contamination. In the past it was plausible, but nowadays the recovery and reuse of P.E.T. goes through a severe process of very high temperature and vaccum, turning the reusable P.E.T. as clean and inert as the brand new pellets.
